Legal permissibility of DNA test and other medical evidences

Are DNA test reports and other medical evidences such as Paternity Test, permissible in the Courts for the legitimacy of children under the Hindu Laws. Also could you please provide various Supreme Court Judgments that strengthen the argument that DNA Test reports are permissible in the court of law, in reference to S. 112 and 113 of the Indian Evidence Act.
