Fraud by Visa Consultancy and employment Exchange Firm

My complaint is regarding this company, they prepared my file for work permit visa sponsor in September and has said that I will get it by 20th October. They kept calling me to say that send documents and we will geet you a visa to an overseas country for free. On 10th October they askd me to deposit Rs. 15,600 in their account. Incorporation as your visa has arrived, we will come to 20th October to take you. But no one came and infact their phone is also switched off since then. I want my money back and want a strict action against them, please guide. You can file a case against Visa Company for cheating against the cheating visa company under Section 417 IPC.

 

Section 417 , IPC requires fulfilment of these conditions-

  1. Transfer of money or property
  2. Such transfer must be based on deceit or forgery
  3. As a result of such transfer you have faced monetary/property losses.

In this case, you have transferred money, based on a false promise of a response from their end, which has led to loss of money from your side. Thus, you could approach the Cyber Crime Cell of your respective state via these steps-

Step 1- For Cyber Crime Complaint First of all write an application in the name head of cyber crime cell.

Step 2- Provide the following things with the application-

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Telephone no.

Step 3- For required documents there are two cases.

  1. a) In case of vulgar emails, abusive email etc the following details is required cyber crime compliant-
  • The header of email which is offending you.
  • The email address of offending sender.
  1. b) In case of Hacking the following details is required for cyber crime complaint-
  • Logs of the server.
  • A hard copy and soft copy of the defected page.
  • If the data of the defacted site is compromised then you will need a soft copy of original data as well as compromised data.
  • Control mechanism details of access in which you have to tell who has access the computer.
  • If you have any doubt or your feeling suspicious about anyone then you have to provide the list of these suspicions.

Step 4- You can file the complaint from any cyber cell of any of the cities and also send direct email on below given email of Cyber Cell Police Station.
