Can a organization deny to give 6 months maternity leave and also deny to pay salary in advance as mentioned in the act?

Answer 1

No, as long as the organization falls within the purview of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961, the organization cannot deny maternity leave. However I will be able to give a detailed reply, once you could specify what kind of organization are you talking about, and for how long has the concerned woman been working in the said organization.
