Government job requirement

  • 1 Answer

I am doing a job in a govt. PSU on diploma qualification. Now I decided to pursue on regular mode from any Pvt. University who allows not mandatory of attendance of daily class for job holders only and for this facility they demand extra fees (I don't know whether it is legal or not). They allow to sit in semester exams as regular. After completing B.Tech, suppose I get a job in another govt. sector through GATE as a fresher i.e hiding my current job experience, because pursuing regular degree with job is not allowed. So during my document verification, will be any problems if they can know about my past job experience?? Or can they get any clue regarding my past job even if I applied as fresher? As much as I know Adhar records all data of a person. Obviously I have to close EPF of my old employer after resigned. Although I can take admission in distance learning mode or in AMIE, but these are not eligible for all jobs. Please guide me. Thanks...

Whether or not there are any problems during verification would depend on whether they mandatorily demand disclosure of previous jobs, or it is up to the discretion of the candidate. However would the BTech you pursued through non-regular attendance, would that also be prohibited under the terms of your employment? You could try asking for exemption from your PSU for this purpose, which will allow you to pursue your degree legitimately.
